For $3,500 Does This 1992 Nissan Sentra SE-R Make Your SERiously Happy OR SEaRching Elsewhere?

This might be the last clean B13 Nissan Sentra SE-R on the planet

Last week I wrote an article about the Nissan Sentra SE-R that you shouldn’t buy. This week my article is about this 1992 Sentra SE-R I found in Annapolis, Maryland on Craigslist, that you should buy.   The Nissan Sentra SE-R built from 1991-1994 is one of the best enthusiast cars built in the 90s. And you can get them for cheap – magazines of the time were calling it a modern day BMW 2002.  It was just the right mix of parts – a powerful 2.0-liter engine, limited-slip differential, lightweight chassis and four-wheel disc brakes. Similar to the Ford Fiesta ST – it just all works amazingly together.

Such a clean Sentra SE-R

Buy This 1992 Sentra SE-R On Craigslist (now)

Doing my normal searching I came across this 1992 Nissan Sentra SE-R for sale.  It is a ONE OWNER car. So rare for a car from 1992. ALL ORIGINAL.  Most SE-Rs have been modified and beaten to a pulp. This one is unmodified and in great condition. NO RUST. What? Every Nissan Sentra has rust, right? They might even come from the factory with rust.  It has the desired five-speed manual transmission (don’t buy the automatic).  A SE-R in horrible shape would sell for $3000.  You can get this cherry example for the bargain basement price of $3,500.

Contain yourself Mike, contain yourself

It is taking serious restraint to not buy this car.  Seeing an unmodified, no rust SE-R for sale locally does not happen often.  But I figured I should share the love so another enthusiast can have the same love for the SE-R as I do. I would just call this guy and buy it sight unseen.  Give him the $3500 and have one of the best Sentra SE-Rs in the country!

So much want

If it gets sold in less then an hour, which I expect it should you can still view the ad here..

  1. I am the proud owner of the Nissan Sentra SE-R you have pictured. It is one of the few unmolested SE-R’s that I have seen in quite some time. It has been well maintained over the years. My son and I enjoy driving such a nice example of one of Nissan’s little gems. It is truly a sleeper.
