Converting an LS1 V8 in to a wicked V12

What dark witchcraft is this? Engine builder Brian Macy in Seattle, Washington have essentially mated two LSX V8s together to make this 8.9L “LSV-12”. First discovered on the forums of ls1-tech.com, readers initially dismissed the reported V12 project, photos included, as a professional photoshop job.

Word is that five of these LSV-12s are in the build process and that the first to be finished is heading into a Datsun 240Z. Power estimates anybody? The builders have yet to set a price for building one of these LSX based V12s for the rest of the world but if this engine proves reliable you may soon see more of these shoehorned in to garage projects.
